For the connection to this diagnostic plug use only the first part of the cable, there is no need to connect the two clamps for power supply. If necessary or in case of problems of communication through the diagnostic plug, you can connect directly the contacts of the ECU by using both cables.

The ECU is placed on the engine block, on the left side (on the right side only for FH16 model). Usually you can access to the ECU lifting the cab.

To make the programming you need to link the cable directly to the right connector of the ECU (the cooling pipe of the oil must be turned upwards). The red connector on the side of the wiring.

All the control to turn on and off the panel are automatic (no switches on the wiring). Therefore you just have to follow the instructions given during the reading/programming procedure of the ECU and the software will automatically provide the power supply.
