Programowanie ODB jest możliwe tylko we wczesnych modelach z nieaktywną jeszcze ochroną przed tuningiem.
W przypadku niepowodzenia programowania OBD należy postępować zgodnie z poniższą procedurą:

1. Zapisz oryginalny plik w ECU jeszcze raz przez OBD
2. With the handbreak engaged and the gear in neutral position, start the engine to make sure that the ECU is still working
3. Turn completely off the control board
4. Disassemble the ECU
5. Perform reading/programming operations using the family 226 Bootloader Tricore Bosch MEDC17
